We're here to help you get the most out of Cut.AI
Getting Started
How do I take accurate progress photos?
For best results, take photos in consistent lighting, wearing minimal clothing, from front and side angles. Stand in the same spot each time for accurate comparisons.
How accurate is the body fat estimate?
Our AI models provide estimates comparable to DEXA scans within ±2-3%. The accuracy improves as you track consistently over time, allowing the model to detect trends.
How often should I check in?
We recommend weekly check-ins. This gives your body time to show meaningful changes while catching plateaus early enough to adjust.
Troubleshooting
The AI can't detect my body in the photo
Make sure you're in the center of the frame with clear contrast from the background. Avoid busy backgrounds and ensure good lighting.
My body fat % seems wrong
Remember it's an estimate. Focus on trends over time rather than a single reading. A week-over-week change is more meaningful than the absolute number.
The app is stuck on "Processing"
This usually resolves within 30 seconds. If it persists, close and reopen the app, or check your internet connection.
Features
How does Cut.AI know when to cut or bulk?
We analyze your body fat %, rate of change, and training goals. If you're lean and maintaining strength, we'll suggest a bulk. If body fat is rising without strength gains, we'll suggest a cut.
Can I customize my macro targets?
Yes, within reason. The app sets evidence-based targets based on your goals, but you can adjust them if they don't fit your lifestyle.
How do I share my progress?
Tap the share button on any progress card to export a clean image. You can share to social media, send to a coach, or keep it private.
